Enlisted Career Roadmap

This document was provided to me recently from my chain of command. This is not an entire career roadmap. However, after reviewing this, I believe that it will set a solid foundation for your Navy career as an air traffic controller. If you want to start on the right foot, this is a good place. It begins with the delayed entry program (DEP). If you are beyond that point, just pick up wherever you are at in your career.

Just click the link below to download the MS word document.

Hello, came across your blog because I was google searching ATC school on Google. Do you work with people who have college degrees but enlisted so that the Navy would pay for school loans? I was thinking about doing that after college at the AC rate sounds interesting. BTW, great blog.

Not sure if you're the same person who asked this question on myspace, but to answer your question: yes. I went to A-School with a girl who had her Bachelor's degree. If you start enlisted, there are ways to become an officer if you change your mind later. You can even stay in the AC community as an LDO (Limited Duty Officer). Email or contact me via myspace or facebook if you have more questions. Thanks for reading.
